According to this latest post, it seems the rumors that DJ Salvatore Ganacci, who was datamined as being in the files next to Ronaldo, are true and he is also going to be playable in base roster.

This game cannot stop taking L's at this point, it's going to be a hard sell for me when they keep axing Fatal Fury characters to put in these lame guest characters from real life.

Oh but it is a joke. Just not a very funny one. Thing is, the game still has a chance, purely because of their ambitious marketing move of making the Season 1 DLC pass completely free. With Ronaldo and Ganacci in base roster though, they only made it less likely for people to want to pick the game up on day 1, imo.

Like I said, looking forward to April 24th to see how well the game sells and how many players it will average online.
