With that in mind, we're actually paying 20-40 bucks less for what we're getting, which is quite the bargain.
You didn't listen to OP, the fact that you said 60 bucks means that you don't understand how much they are charging us in developing countries.
And regional prices actually help the company to make *more* money by selling way more copies. 100000 copies x 10 USD in 3 months is better than 3000 copies x 60 USD in 5 months and the latter is how many you'll sell in a country where 100 bucks is enough to buy food for at least two weeks for the entire family.
Additional factor is the price of competitor's games and how often they go on sale. Yes, Tekken 8, and SNK's own KOF XV for example. When you can buy complete editions of more popular game for the price of less popular game the choice will be obvious for many people.
I still want the game, but I'll wait for feedback and promotions.
But that's my point, it is reasonable at 60USD when you work and Earn in a country like that. For 3rd world countries such as mine, a 60USD price tag is much more than a regular person earns in a day. The region should matter because there are weaker economies than USA and Euope, we are not all earning at that level to afford these kind of price tags
Also, as you've been told multiple times, through regional pricing, you're not paying anywhere near 60 dollars. Depending on exchange rates for your country, you're paying a lot less. You can see exactly how much less by going on SteamDB and comparing the price your country pays for an individual game compared to the rest of the world. I'm sure you'll find that the US and EU pay a lot more lol.
If you can't afford it, move on.
Here in Uruguay We got not reduced price at all :( , not on Steam , not on Epic . Guess I´ll wait till the game goes on a sale and hope the online is still strong at that point.
