can you respawn a dead or stuck hero?

twice now ive had heroes ive needed get stuck or killed and have had to restart lvls . I had wolverine get stuck behind a door on the prison lvl and couldnt kill him to get him to respawn because of his power. and in stark tower i accidently killed capt america with my laser right before we both needed to get on the platform behind the gold wall to advance and he never respawned . So what im asking is there a console mode or something that will make these heroes respawn when they get stuck so I don't have to redo the lvl? I even tried pressing F2 to get capt america to respawn as a user controlled unit and it didnt work.

I don't think so.
For reference, with the Daily Bugle level, I managed to get the vacuum stuck on Stan Lee In Peril... had to restart the level to progress it. >_<

I had the same problem in Red Head Detention, a monitor came out the wall and trapped Black Widow, who I needed to complete the puzzle of the monitor. Still trying to find a way to fix it :c

**FIX** have two people playing the game then press start with stuck character and go to drop out. Character instantly jumps out of stuck position and then jump back into the game again!

Unfortunately it doesn't work with Starlord stuck in a ladder :/
