Missing Sandman

I am having a big problem with the sandman character..

The game tells me that I have unlocked it.. But when I play in free mode, on the character select there is only an empty icon. Without the locked out Icon. When I select it, it then tells me that it is in fact locked..

Is there another equivalent char?

Or another unlock code for the character??

I have even played thru the begging several times..

If it doesn't have the question mark on it and it's black it means that is unlocked and available to buy. Have you bought it?

Where do I buy it?? It is odd that most of the others that I fought are there..

And the lack of a manual explaining this all would help..

You buy it in the same place you select people. Just go to someone you want to buy and hit a button. I don't know off hand which button but since the game only uses three buttons it wont be hard to figure out. You should be able to see the price you need to pay also when you move to the guy you want to buy.

By sheer bs and stupidity I managed to figgure it out..

ty for the help.. I thought was in the selection for the free play mode.. Rather then in the 'ship. Vehicle' screen..
