The game doesn't launch
Well, got this game a couple of days ago and was really looking forward to play it (liked the PS3 demo a lot, and I'm a big fan of the Lego games), but as the title says, the game doesn't launch at all. If I try, Steam's "preparing to launch" window appears for less than 1 second and then nothing. Doesn't even start the game, no error message, nothing. Has anybody encountered this problem before, and if so, any fixes?

Having the same problem, all I get is a minimized black screen.

Same problem here, icon sits in the taskbar but cannot fullscreen it. Just get a black screen followed by the desktop again if i click it. I did recently upgrade my Nvidia drivers through geforce experience and only then did this appear to start happening. Anyone else have similar experience?

@rudids not using nvidia, but I'm using amd beta drivers, will try to move back a version i'll report if that works

Fixed it for me so thought I'd share how I did it incase someone else can be helped by this:

I went to C:\Users\${USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

Where ${USERNAME} obviously is your login name for your PC, in that directory there is a file named pcconfig.txt, open it and modify the screen resolution to what you want to use, for me I wanted 1920x1080 and it was incorrectly set in the file at 1280x720 so was failing to start, I changed my file to look like:

ScreenWidth 1920
ScreenHeight 1080
WindowWidth 1920
WindowHeight 1080

And now the game launches just fine. Hope it helps someone else.

Thanks! This worked for me, but in my pcconfig height and width were reversed. So get it to work I had to set height to 1920 and width to 1080, doesn't make sense but thats what I had to do.
Thanks for all the comments, however, that's not the same problem I'm having. As I mentioned, when I try to run it nothing happens. Not even a minimized black screen nor an icon on the task bar nor anything else, either :/
Just in case I checked in any case in the configuration folder, and though it exists, it's completely empty. I suppose it's because since the game hasn't run yet, the configuration files haven't been created.

I just had the problem too. The tip didn't work for me.. :(.
But I found another solution: check the integrity of the files (right click on the game in your list, properties and under a tab there is something like that). It took 1-2 minutes and finally the game launched ^^.

same problem here i did what "rudids" said but it doesnt launch after that at all
I tried to check the cache integrity (it has solve problems I had before with a couple of games, though these at least could launch), but still no solution. In any case I mailed WB Games tech support. I hope they come up with something.
