Can you not skip them? You could on the last Lego game I played, the lord of the rings one. Just slam those buttons.

Cutscenes usually can't be skipped on the first playthrough, but should be skippable when doing free play.

I know how you can skip the opening cutscene where Silver Surfer is at.
You just Tap a lot of keys a lot of times. Then it'll say "Skip (Whatever you have your tag at)" Then you'll just skip to the main screen.

I found Space + Enter + Esc (held down) worked for me.

Same issue as you guys here, cannot skip that "om nom nom" intro sequence :-/.
Tried all suggestions above, nothing works.
