How to cancel the coop mode?

I know how to enable the local cooperation mode, but... How do I cancel it?

I press F2 and the screen split in two, the second character is controllable by the other player, but I couldn't find any way to turn it off and reunite the screen again.

I have to turn off the game, and start it again. Anyone can help me?

Press Enter from Keypad and select Drop Out.

Man, I feel really dumb now...

I was doing what you said, I pressed Enter from the numpad keyboard, and selected the drop down option, but instead of pressing the confirmation button (numpad 2 in my case), I was pressing "Enter" again. I was cancelling the command.

Thanks for helping me figure out what I was doing wrong.
