I feel stupid....
Isn't this game made for kids? I keep getting stuck trying to figure things out. I had trouble at first on the sandman part where you needed to take down the electric wall, and now I'm stuck with mister fantastic and captain america trying to get through the lab. I'm supposed to use captain americas shield to put out the flames, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get mr. fantastic over to the grate he can squeeze through. The flames don't die out permanently. l usually don't have any trouble with solving puzzles, but this game is becoming absurd! I'm frickin 30, how are kids able to pass this game? Anyways, help is apprecieated.

You're not alone so don't feel bad. I got stumped a handful of times and I'm in my 30's. This is the first Lego game I've played in its entirety and the mistake I kept making early on was not busting up everything in a room to be able to build the needed contraptions to pass the level.

OMG....this makes me feel a ton better. I was having the same issue. Every puzzle was stumping me and I have been playing games for around 30 years....once i realized that there is almost always something to build to progress it made things a lot easier.

Yeah that about covers it. Lego games are fairly different in that many times you have to build things to progress. If you don't have all the parts you haven't busted up everything nearby.

I've always found the odd thing in the games that I couldn't get past, although it's always very obvious once you've looked up the solution!

Thank goodness for youtube walkthroughs :)

Same here, been playing games for 32 years, played through both Portal games with no problems solving each puzzle yet Lego Marvel stumped me..lol

Haha, yea, funnily enough, after reading filmmakerartist1s comment, things got a lot easier. But man, the first few levels were getting my mind kerfuffled.
Some times it's not your fault. One of the Gold Brick missions in New York is glitched, making it unsolvable how it was intended to be. The only way to solve it is by wandering around until you stumble upon it.

I've found in pretty much every lego game I've played, the problem is that you're almost always overthinking stuff and trying to think outside of the box. The answer is almost always to punch something until it breaks so you can put it back together
