Game Constantly Freezing
I just bought Lego Marvel Super Heroes last night, and installed the game over night. Booted it up this morning and it constantly freezes. It's happening on the first level, just after Spiderman shows up. Every 2-4 seconds the game freezes, then there is a white screen for another few seconds, then the game appears to 'fix' itself for a few seconds, and then freezes again. Rinse, repeat.

I tried verifying the cache, nothing is wrong. All of my drivers are up to date (because I've been struggling with Skyrim crashing for over 5 months now and one of my attempts to fix it was to delete and reinstall every single audio and video driver on my computer). I’m also not running any extraneous processes or programs aside from Steam (also a result of trying to fix Skyrim).

Here are my specs:

OS: Windows 7
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 530 @ 2.93GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.9GHz
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6670
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Bell Aliant Fibre Op, 45 Mb/s Down, 13 Mb/s Up from SpeedTest.

Anyone have any solutions to this?

Can you computer run the game? I mean there's a difference between your computer being able to launch a game and actually play it smoothly so try can I run it: http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri
Basicly it will check your computer specs and see if you can run the game without a problem.

he should be able to run the game without any problems, with the specs he gave us... i have the same specs and it runs without any problems.. .try updating your graphics drivers... if that still fails post back i think its an issue on your computer, not with the game

I'm getting the same thing, and I have even better specs on my rig. I updated my drivers and its still doing it. However, I dont have a white screen - the image just freezes for a few seconds and then it continues.

I updated all my drivers again, and I'm still getting it. I notice during the opening cutscene with the Silver Surfer I was getting freezes like PJRoast mentioned, with no white screen, but then when I played the actual game I'd get the white screen.

if other games are crapping out, it might be a hardware realted issue, i'd get it checked as well, since i have the same specs, its odd that your not working, again, get it checked out

I get this issue too, it freezes every few seconds. I've completed story mode (it only really freezed a few times) but now in NYC t freezes all the time. I have an i5 with a GT220 so I don't think hardware is an issue. I did have the issue where it kept closing to the desktop when you start but I fixed that by fiddling with the resolution in a settings file. This freezing is really frustrating though, pretty much renders the game unplayable :(

I'm having the same problem. I suspect it has to do with AMD graphics cards (I updated drivers and the issue changed from freezing and recovering to freezing and bluescreening - luckily I reverted my drivers). I've also noticed it seems to happen most in NYC, usually when a lot of things are on the screen at once. Probably either the water effects or rendering a lot of New York at once.
