First mission bugged?

Anyone else have similar issues with the very first mission (Sand Central Station),very first boss of the game

I get to abomination and it feels like the button mashing of X and B is endless (Using an Xbox 360 controller). Easily I've gone 5 minutes of mashing back and forth, something's not right. Any ideas or tips on how to fix this/is it a known bug

Follow-up, i switched to keyboard controls, no difference, mashing h and k back and forth for another couple minutes, it's like something's broken

Edit: I reloaded and the game worked as intended. still kinda strange but it's not stopping my progress

can you help me with my san central station glitch?when spiderman is meant to swing a web on a hook to get bruce up to the water tower, there is no option to do it.this stops me from advancing.can you plz help?
