Report a translation problem
When you get to the screen that prompts you to either keep the altered settings or revert back to how it was previously you actually have to navigate to the "use current display mode".
If you look carefully you will see that the option "revert" is picked by default and every time you hit "A" (controller) or "Enter" (keyboard) before changing what is selected you are reverting your selected settings instead of keeping them.
So, simply select "use current display mode" and then hit "A" (or whatever button you have mapped to that function).
Hopefully this helps you out : )!
A bit suprised to see a reply to this post so late... o.o.
In either case, the issue I was referring to was caused by bad UI-design leading to an easily missed button promt. If that was not your problem then there is no need to call me unhelpful when I was the only one that responded.
With that said the "Use current display mode" option is actually located above the "Revert settings" option... you can't navigate "down" to it because there is no down... but judging by your post you seem to have noticed both options.
What exactly happens then when you navigate up highlighting the option "Use current display mode"? Once its highlighted you should just be able proceed without it reverting your settings?
