What character is best to use when trying to get Groot

I'm having difficulties in doing the final quest to get Groot, you have to "whack" 30 moles, I've tried a lot of the ranged characters, I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or what?

U should use a beam based character since they are all on the wall in front and u dont have to move :D

I just used Mark 42 Iron Man to lock on and shoot or use the beam.

I haven't done this quest yet but I've seen in YT how it is and for this kind of things I always use Cyclops. And if I have to kill someone fast (like when you try to get Luke Cage) then Cyclops again.
