Xbox 360 controller on a Mac
Been having trouble getting my Afterglow wired 360 controller to work with my Mac. My Mac recognises the controller because I can use Joystick Mapper to set the controller buttons. I can only occassionally get the controller to work in the game but even then it is only for a little while. When I go to controller setup in the options menu it comes up with "No Input". It even says this during the times I can get the game to recognise the controller and I use it to navigate to the controller options menu. I know that there is nothing wrong with my controller because it works with my old laptop. Anyone have an ideas?

Try using Tattiebogle. Its a Xbox Driver for Mac.

I have had success with other games using it.
I play all my Steam games through Bootcamp on my Mac.

I use that driver and i was partially successful but the game does not seem to accept the controller i got from gamestop which tattiebogle maps as xbox controller while the controller that isnt from gamestop is mapped as ximput and works with the game. if anyone knows of a solution to this id appreciate it although im glad at least one controller works fine i want to play with both for co op. thx

PS. this game is native mac compatible now no bootcamp needed

For OSX360Controller users, there's a fork of the tattiebogle code on github, you can view this here:

https://github.com/d235j/360Controller/releases

For me, it fixed the kernel panic I got when plugging/unplugging a controller.

I'm having the same problem. I have tattiebogle installed. I have to navigate the menu with the keyboard. When I select "change device" and and prompts to "Press a key on button/device you wish to select" it will recognize a button push on the controller. After it recognizes the button push it just says "No Input" for all of the controls and is unresponsive to the gamepad.

I'm running Yosemite (same result on Mavericks prior to update) using a Gamestop Xbox 360 controller.

There's no way I'm playing this game with the keyboard. A fix would be nice.

i found my xbox controller that didn't have the gamestop logo on it worked correctly which i believe i bought from gamestop a couple years ago (can't be certain) but the one i bought from gamestop recently didn't work ( which had gamestop on the controller). I suggest trying a controller thats not from gamestop or one that doesn't have their logo on it?

Are you using a build of the driver from the above github fork?
