Golf Cart Race glitch

Hey all,

I'm encountering a glitch during the golf cart race on Liberty Island. I use a character with magnetic powers to remove the blue bar from the cart then use the cart to activate the race. Everything goes fine until the part where I have to go up some stairs in the circular plaza area. When my cart climbs those stairs, it just disappears and the race is cancelled. Every time. When I climb those stairs, poof! Golf cart gone. Anyone having the same issue or have a fix? Thanks much!
