If there is anything that needs changing back to your specs. you can do it here.
You could also verify your game files, though that is usually unproductive.
Then, if you still have problems, you can try:
R-click on the game in your library\Properties\LocalFiles\BrowseLocalFiles\scroll down to the exe. file\R-click the exe. file\Properties\Compatibility
There you can do three options, any or all. Try a compatibility mode\Tick the 'run game as Admin' box\Win10 has a troubleshooter here that might be able to sort out what's wrong. It's not brilliant but it has worked the bugs out for me a couple of times.
As a last resort you could do a full reinstall. But you would need to delete the Roaming folder above to make any difference to the reinstalled game settings. This would wipe out any Saves you have, so you might want to copy your old Savedgames folder to install into the new Roaming game file. This will only work if the problem is not something in the save of the game you were changing. You might end up with the problem repeating itself, in which case you might have to delete that save and start a fresh game.
Hope you find something useful. Good Luck :)
