[SOLVED] Game won't launch
Can anyone please help?
When I try to launch it, it just goes black screen, a white flash, and then nothing.
I have: core i7 7700k, nvidia gtx1070, 16gb ram, win10x64

I've searched for numerous solutions, nothing works so far:
- reinstalling the game
- verifying integrity of the game cache
- running from game folder
- running as administrator
- running in a compatibility mode with winXPsp3, win Vista(sp1,sp2), win7, win8
- reinstalling _commonredist(directX, C++ 2010)
- deleting %APPDATA%\Roaming\Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment\LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes
- setting resolution in pcconfig.txt to native to the display
- trying downloaded maxed out pcconfig.txt
- unchecking "hidden" for %APPDATA% folder
- unchecking "writeonly" for "LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes" folder
- disabling antivirus
- disabling firewall
- setting pc location to US
- setting pc location to UK
- setting current timezone to GMT+0
- setting main language to English(UK)
- setting main language to English(US)
- setting date/time format to English(UK)
- setting date/time format to English(US)
- setting date/time format to English(World)
- turning off TeamViewer, that I had in the background
- turning off Hamachi
- turning off Hamachi service from processes
- turning off my game tracker for tracking hours in game
- turning off win10 Gamebar
- updating my graphics drivers

The only difference was:
- running windows in safe mode.
When in safe mode, the game shows dev logos, then Shield logo, and then again just drops.

Also:
File "steam_appid.txt" contains 249130
Task manager shows that the process stops right after the black screen ends, nothing in the background. Tried waiting as well

Going to Steam support just directs to "Sorry you have these issues, here are some official links."

Hi! I've managed to make it work.

In case you're here with similar issues, it was my headphones.
I have wireless bluetooth headphones, and when I had them disconnected, the game worked just fine.

It crashed with HP connected, so I tried connecting HP when the game was already running.
I tried a program called AudioRouter to force game sounds to the headphones, but that program doesn't work with this game.

So what I did instead was going into windows audio settings and disabling all audio devices that are not the headphones.

Now the game launches just fine with working headphones audio.

Thank you, I was in the same situation and your solution was the one that worked.
