This is a perfectly good complete game you can enjoy without waiting for patches to fix whatever you think is broken.
If anything, why aren't more game studios releasing games at launch at this quality? Why all the day 1 patches to fix things they should have fixed before shipping.
Whenever Val is alone for story reason and you go into the class sub-menu, the layout that usually displays everyone's EP is broken and doesn't show anything besides "EP". Still keeps track of Val's EP if you unlock stuff, though, so this is only a visual glitch,
Sometimes there's an issue when you transition from combat mode back to exploration mode. Some buttons (usually changing the active character, though I had one instance where attacking didn't register) don't respond until you press another button first.
It's possible this happens more often than I've noticed, and I've just been lucky with hitting the correct buttons to break the "curse".
So shut down the team on the release day?
Isn't it odd?
- fell down through the ship during the kraken fight, it teleported me back on the deck like when you fall down a cliff.
- started a lesser aerie, enemies took no damage (although they still got picked up by the wind boomerang) and I could see another group of enemies beyond the arena that were close to the aerie wqhen I started it.
Also a minor one they might want to patch lol, there's at least three ways that I know of to get the end-game spear in the Aerie Passage ruins without fighting a single enemy there; some tricky jumps, but you can get it as soon as you can get to the area, before even getting Kareena.
