Wired PS5 Controller Doesn't Register

So I dont believe i'm doing anything wrong in this regard, but im unable to control the game AT ALL with my PS5 controller, It's being recognized because the "Press Any Button" responds as well as the controller button layout when in options, but i can only navigate with my keyboard.

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but I'm looking to refund and grab it on PS5

I activated steam inputs that overrides, this made it work for me.

Alt-tabbing out of this game(sometimes it also just stops on it's own) sometimes makes the controller appear to stop working.
Usually hitting the pause button(for some reason it still works) then another button on my controller makes the game see your controller again.

If that fails I unplug the controller and plug it back in. Then,if just that isn't enough, i hit pause followed by any other button

I use the DuelSense. You probably have to enable Steam input. Right click Visions Of Mana in your game list and go into Controller options and enable Steam input. It'l work fine.
