Does this also boost distance you can see monster and NPC?
Even 3 breaks this at least it does for me on my system in both the demo and retail version of the game. It wasn't something I noticed immediately as your party, NPCs and trees/buildings still cast shadows.
Thanks! you are right, dog shadows are gone with 5. I think 2 is indeed the best one so I'll edit the first post.
I'm trying some SSR settings to see if they can look better but do far I haven't managed to make improvements.
(and i assume those PS button prompts are built into the game and not a mod?)
I'll give it a go sometime later today.
I'm glad you can choose it. One of the worst habits developers have is exclusively auto-detecting without giving the user an override option. They did not make that mistake with this game, even if the wording is weird.
