PS5 Controller
How are game devs in this year and age still not creating PS5 Controller support for games? Not even the button layout exists how is that even hard to put in like 10-12 image files as a button layout?

And don't come with this stupid argument that the controller works when it's connected, make it work with Bluetooth like any other game.

For anyone wanting to buy this game expecting to be able to play with a PS5 controller wireless, do not buy the game at any cost. It will not work unless you probably find some workout, not willing to download DS controller mapping just to play a game in 2024 with devs incapable of adding button pictures.

Fully priced game that I actually was excited to try out and buy but I guess not.

you can change to ps5 button icons in the in-game options.

How are you in this day and age not checking the options menu? the option to change icons is right there and the dualsense works without issues, I used it for the demo because it is supported both as a dualsense or as steam input device.

Also lol using it wired is not stupid, it's the best way to play because it reduces latency and it enables the triggers, haptics and 3-D audio.

I played the demo with a PS5 Dualsense controller connected through bluetooth, with the Playstation button prompts. You are mad about nothing.

No, it should work wireless. But they put no effort into making it work.

You cannot unless you have the controller connected via. USB so don't even start to tell me I'm stupid for not checking options when you are the clueless one.

Care to explain how you did what no one else is able to do then?
Not only is it what people experience, it's also what the official page says, so I don't even know what you are on about.

Enable steam input, with the controller connected to the PC via bluetooth. It will work.

Then, go into the options menu and set button style to type 2. That's the PS button prompts.

I mean this isnt 100% cause I have played many games wireless with haptics and triggers lol

So yeah after changing nothing it suddenly actually works, I'm not seeing any updates so I doubt it was a fix for some systems.

Might have been a bug can't explain it otherwise.

Guess I was too rash to ♥♥♥♥ on it so fast but I couldn't have known better if it actually was a game issue in the first place.

It was working in the demo but for some reason it doesn't in the full game. I had no issue with the demo but I have to use DS4 controller to have my gamepad works properly in the full game there's clearly a bug. If I press a button the game detects that I am trying to use a controller (i.e all the button prompts turn to the gamepad ones correctly) but my gamepad isn't recognized. With DS4 controller it works fine though.

Basically there's a bug that needs fixing.

Considering it just started working for me it might be a game bug that somehow occurs, I have honestly no will to test it out and I'm just gonna play until it doesn't.

i thought there was actual controller issues but wireless? bro nobody cares about something so small

I ran into this issue...My DualSense only works if I enable steam input for it, but it shows the wrong glyphs when I do. The game says it has native support for the dualsense when wired, but it doesn't seem to work.

You can change the glyphs in game. The option is just horrendously worded. IIRC PlayStation was type 2.
