DEMO Feedback
Keeping in mind that this is a demo build, which hopefully is a much older build/version, I hope the full release will not be in this state.

Graphics/Performance:
Graphics are good. Not mindblowing but it fits the series. I expected a little bit more when I saw the trailer. It's at least an improvement from Trials Of Mana. I noticed the character models being blurry, even in the cutscenes which run at 30fps (yikes). That for me totally kills the vibe. I think it would've been much cooler if they used the graphics shown while a cutscene runs - lighting looks so much better, but I don't know how much that would impact the performance. Also a lot of stutter inbetween...

World building:
Feels pretty generic if I'm being honest. Exploration feels boring and not rewarding because... well who would've guessed... too much handholding. Let me discover a chest and don't tell me where it is on the map.

Gameplay:
It's good and again an improvement from Trials Of Mana. I think the customization will be quite cool later on. We'll have to wait and see.

Difficulty:
It's way too easy. Give me a hard mode which is actually hard. Hard mode in Trails Of Mana was too easy, too.

Audio:
So far no memorable soundtrack. It's okay. As a music nerd I really expected more here.
For the voice acting... well uh... safe to say I'm gonna play this on japanese. The english dub rips off ears.

Characters:
I know this is the Mana Series but maybe it would be a breeze of fresh air to not always have this "super-optimistic-I-will-save-the-world-no-matter-what-hero-guy". I'd like to see a little bit "seriousness"... I don't know how to explain. But then again it just has a different target audience.

Conclusion:
As an OG from the SNES days and as a Squaresoft/SquareEnix fan I will definitely play this, but maybe I'll wait for some mods to fix the game first (30fps cutscenes etc.) if this really is the state of the full release version. I really hope this is "just a demo build" which will not resemble the full release version...

for the difficulty, it's a demo, it doesn't have difficult options, they'll prob be added to the game itself like TOM

I just finished the demo, did all the sidequests and some class changing. I'm not sure if my base expectations are different than others, but I really had a good time with the demo. The only thing, I couldn't save at all? So how will I get the extras when I decide to play the full version? There was no clear save.

Either way I think the game looks awesome. With the style they are going for...it is not going to look like The Witcher 3, it is an anime-styled JRPG through and through. I really enjoyed the lively colors throughout the game.

Even the combat was very fun. I'm not sure if people are expecting DMC level combat but as a player of older action JRPGs (Tales, Star Ocean) the combat is very good from what I played.

Voice acting is very good and I felt like I was watching a Saturday morning anime on Toonami, which is a plus.

Either way I can't really say enough good things about the game. I'm not actually sure at this point though if it's ok to clear the game off my hard drive or not, seeing it didn't save anything even at the end.

Pretty much how I feel though I have a bias as a fan of the series. That said good lord the performance is messy with all the shader stutter, lack of graphic options for tweaking and the texture loading and pop in.
the game autosaves on entering an area. if you enter the main menu and press X i think, and do Load game, you'll see it says Autosave. ;)
Is there a way you can share the save please? my pc can't handle it at the moment and I don't wanna miss on the weapons. If possible.

You can also manually save at any sparkling point on the field.

Upon attempting to save, I received the message that there was not enough space to complete the action, yet I have 10 GBs of space free. Were other people able to create a save in the demo? I might need to play through it again unfortunately if that is the case...
