This game literally can not run on the switch they had to skip it and wait for next Nintendo console.
P.S. Don't interact with people with hidden profiles.
Precache shaders on first boot of game.
There will be a few crybabies who don't understand why they have to wait to play the game until shaders are cached, but if your not addicted to TikTok and have patience it will be ok.
If BotW/TotK can run on the Switch while maintaining a stable smooth 30FPS like 80% of the time (except for very select areas/situations) and being an open world game with absolutely no loading screens besides Entering/Exiting Shrines or Fast Traveling.
Then there is NO excuse that this game couldn't run on a Switch if they properly optimized it and added Dynamic Resolution while also having the various different types of "Culling" I believe it's called where the game dynamically unloads anything behind the direction your facing to save on resources until you turn your camera.
But then again, Nintendo are literally wizards with black magic when it comes to optimizing their 1st party games on weaker hardware that no other company can compare on their level.
BOTW gets a lot of mileage out of its art direction and cel shading style.
The models are very low polygons, there are very little enemies at a given time, there's no super attack, etc...
I also don't think it's fair to compare one studio having to make 4 versions of a game with nintendo spending 7 years making an iterative sequel.
And even then look how abysmal Pokemon looks on the system. Zelda really is the exception not the norm.
Trials of Mana already had to run with lots of concessions on switch, Visions looks better in every way so they probably felt like it just wasn't worth it. Especially not with the new nintendo console coming soon. Remember they delayed the console launch, Square probably didn't see that coming.
When I first started the game, I did notice that my CPU fans were working harder than they typically would for gaming, but the frame rate was still solid though. it could simply be a matter of me having enough CPU to brute force the shader compilation without impacting my frame rates.
He's blind. I have a 4090 too, and there is definitely shader stutter....
The overtuned Left Analog stick dead zones are still in the game though, so movement still feels bad/janky.
