No Multiplayer No buy

It's a damn shame that in the year 2024 we can't get an online coop Mana game. My buddy and I played secret of mana when it first released on the SNES and were looking forward to playing this game. Huge missed opportunity and have 0 interest in playing this solo.

Huh, you have some weird misunderstandings regarding how MP works in games or something. Theres no reason the game would need to require you to be online, if you didn't want to co-op in an *optional* co-operative game.

I do think it's a shame that SE has failed to understand that a big part of why Secret of Mana and SD3 are iconic is because you could play them ENTIRELY through with someone else, even so far as having to buy your own equipment and equip it.

That said, This is still the closest thing we're gonna get TO those games, and I'm still excited for it. I just hope that they actually make a multiplayer one someday, or hell someone is able to make a mod for this one.

Secrets of Grindea is the closest to a multiplayer mana game I have played in recent years. Worth checking out now that it is out of early access. It is online coop only though, no couch coop.

Pretty much this for me as well. I've never had people to play with, doubt I ever will, so multiplayer is meaningless to me (and often results in adding bosses or difficulty scaled for having multiple human players, making the solo gameplay harder or impossible in some cases)

I'll buy the game when some kind of multiplayer will be available, that's all. And that's the choice of 50% of the players because they all have friends in their life.
