Any info on the combat system?
I'm hoping for something similar to Ys with a shared "special gauge" mixed with a system like genshin that encourages you to switch up your characters. Skill / action synergies between playable characters would be dope af.

The shared gauge is what i hate in the game, in trials of mana each character had their own gauge for their classes, it felt good. Cuz you can see your team mate using their skills on the field, but in visions of mana, there is just 1 gauge for everyone and it's so terrible, not to mention that the class skill is cinematic and just a cutscene, and it's so horrible

There's more incentive to chain the fun abilities when everyone is working off the same bar. Ys feels fun. FF Remake and Ni No Kuni 2 feel grindy.

A System similar to YS VIII would be pretty much perfect. Hell if SE wanted to rip off other parts of YS they should just go for it. It's kinda insane to imagine how far falcom has come with their games wehre SE goes all over the place and never delivered another Mana game with a proper budget until this one finally was announced.
