So pressing the radio/voice control button enables the user to use voice commands to calling for pit stop, check the weather and so on. In this mode the sound get's muffled. But even when I'm done with the voice command and the menue closes, the sound never comes back as it was before. At this point I have to tab out and back in into the game to get the normal sound.
This does not happen with normal speakers and is only happening when using bluetooth speakers with an inbuilt mic.
My question is now, how to get back to the normal sound or maybe disable voice recognition completely to avoid this problem from the beginning?
I'm using Win 11 + Sony WH-1000XM5 by the way
Open Windows 11 Settings.
Select the Bluetooth & devices category from the left side.
Now, click Devices.
Scroll down and click on the More devices and printers settings. This will open the Devices and Printers page in the Control Panel.
Right-click on your Bluetooth device and select Properties.
Go to the Services tab.
Uncheck the Handsfree Telephony checkbox.
Click Apply and then click OK.
I don't know what this does in Windows and what will / won't work anymore, but it solved the game-issue
