Game crashes on startup?
New player to the series, game crashes on startup, i press play, it loads a black screen, shows the f1 logo on taskbar, then just closes out the game.

I've tried updating drivers, updating pc, disabling antivirus, validating files, running steam as administrator, have scoured google and reddit all to no avail, hoping someone can share some advice. Cant believe EA would just let this issue persist since release to steer away new players such as myself

probably your windows.
I have PC i5 10400f, rtx 3060ti, 16gb ram, installed on HDD 5400RPM
and laptop i7 10875h, rtx 2070s, 32gb ram, installed on SSD gen3.

both run fine with Windows 11 X-Lite. 22H2 and 23H2.
I know it sound childish to reinstall windows, but that's my recommendation from me.

this was happening to me 3 days ago.
I had to do a file verify 5 times before it finally worked.
Each time it found something absent and fixed it.
On the 6th time it gave me a message that all was good and up to date.
I have it going now, but it was pretty frustrating.
Hope this helps.

then do a file verify
then start game
For me, having paging enabled and having enough space in C drive fixed it. For some reason, some games seem to use it even if you have 32 or 64 GB ram.

I have Ryzen 5700X, game won't start too, but yesterday works fine.
I just installed, and have an AMD 7700x and it just gets to the splash screen and keeps crashing. Have 3TB free on C, updated nvidia drivers. reinstalled ea anti cheat. Verified game files. This game still just crashes.
I have the same problem. I updated everything including the drivers and the graphics card driver. I've been trying for 5 hours and I'm about to have a nervous breakdown.
