Tips, tutorials, instructions to improve skills for beginners?
I'm new to F1, and i'm usually an arcade gamer but first time trying Sim racing and my first ever time playing an F1 game. It seems there are so many rules in the game which makes it a great challenge. Plus, there's so many driver options to modify formula car capabilities during a race. Where can I find tutorial video for beginners on how to use the the at hand options, adjustments or whatever there is to improve my skills and have better chance of winning races.

I've done a few races but in beginner modes and it's still a struggle to get to the front of the pack when I start at 10th etc, and sometimes my brakes don't work responsively or they fade (overheat??)

Love the game so far.

Thanks heaps 😁

dont use the default car setups those are terrible, you can browse the steam workshop or look online to find setups that are much better

dont be affraid to turn on any assists you need to help you during a race until you've done each track enough times to be able to drive them in your sleep

dont be too heavy on the brakes as that will slow you down alot, some corners you can just give the brakes a few taps others you can just lift and coast through, as you do each track more and more you'll start to learn when and where to do which on what corner

if you are playing my team and chose newcomer then dont be alarmed if you are near the back alot you start with the worse car on the grid until you improve your facility

if you are playing on more then 5 laps dont forget to pit atleast once if you dont change tire compounds atleast once during a race you will be disqualified

theres no refueling your car so bring enough gas to make it to the finish but dont bring too much as fuel will weigh down your car and make you slower

not sure what other advise to give at the moment, if you are in career do your practice programs and just race on each track over and over and you will naturally start to learn the tracks and how to drive on them

when i first started playing F1 games back in 2015 or so i was terrible playing against AI lvl 30s now iam going against AI 80+ with a controller

Thanks so much for those tips! I didn't know about those regulations, that is good to know, it's so challenging, and the game requires lots of patience and timing to overtake and when to hit the peddle coming out of the corner. It's awesome.

I had a few more games this morning taking on board your tips re not braking too much and coasting and that definitely does the trick! Gets me closer and I just half throttle during a bend and then go full. Brakes seem to wear out fast so I try to avoid using them too heavily and prefer to use them as I approach the corner then coast now. Works good.

Any other important regulations to know? I just to F1 world to gain my skills. Should I do all license levels or just stick to one type for now?

Thanks 😊

not sure what you dont know vs what i do so cant really think of anything else to add at the moment

dont overtake during yellow flags

if you find yourself in the unfortunate state of getting blue flagged let them pass or you'll get penalized/disqualified

safety cars are the best time for pits since everyone has to slow down

as for F1 world i dont really use any of the modes except grand prix and multiplayer

never been the best at explaining things hopefully someone else chips in
