For the warmup lap in quali i also agree with, you let the ai go and they stop to let you go and you have to come to a standstill so they come again.
Fergy doesnt need to improve, as he said the ai does
Maybe 95% is not fast enough for you. I'd love you to try 110% and let me know how it goes. Happy to go online with you and test it out:) Could be interesting.
At 80% the cars can't keep up with me and it's no fun sitting out in front. The game falls down when you try and place yourself in the mid field for a hard fought fight.
I don't thing it would take much for dev's to make it better.
That's what I've seen from the game over the years, the errors are there with out a doubt and need to be cleaned up.
You really should get rid of this "it's impossible mindset". If 2 cars fit next to each other, then it's allowed to overtake and there's only really the castle section in Baku that for sure doesn't allow it.
And overall, 22 and 23 introduced a more humanlike attitude to the AI, thus trying to be more aggressive, when the player makes mistakes and even more so deciding to take a specific line at some point, making it harder to divebomb.
As for the aggressiveness slider, that's literally the difficulty slider. Their aggressiveness mostly depend on the delta speed. If you're faster than them, then they take a more passive line and might even break at corner exit to leave you space. If they're faster then you, then they're more likely trying to overtake you.
And overall, so far i've see human players being more prone to damage other humans cars, while the AI is still relatively predictable, as long as you can hold your own line
