There is F1 World and in that you basically just hone your skills and upgrade your car.
Sure you can buy your driver some different clothes, but it's not any kinda major thing.
I will agree about the user interface not supporting mouse.
After the last few years they should have fixed that, but it's not a deal breaker.
I think the handling is better than other F1 games I've played - I could control the slips better which I liked (that said you still slide off to the side ridiculously during the start launch - a weird effect to be sure) and I felt I could control the car a lot better without traction control on even in the wet.
I think the lighting is the main culprit, just somehow gives everything a very slight cartoony look. There are textures that are pixelated at 4k on the cars/track and the wet weather looks awful compared to whats possible in other games. The spray looks nothing like the race yesterday for example. I swear they have like 3 models for a tree and just reuse it constantly.
It's been a recurring issue but they just cannot get matte finish right on the cars either. No matter what they look reflective on the track.
