Is the AI really that slow?

I heard from some people on youtube, the AI should be much worse and much slower in F1 24 than in previous F1 games, can you confirm it?

Compared to f1 22 i drove at 70 difficulty on f1 24 i am at 90 and are still being able to get into the top 5 with a williams. So yes they are slower, but I probably think max difficulty is still high enough for the average driver like me. Unless you are a e-sports driver or play the f1 games all the time i dont think it will impact you.

The only real issue is that the ai seems to be much faster in the straight than you. Sometimes you even you see their ers saving mode light blinking and they still drive away from you.

Right now AI is considerably slower in Career mode than in Grand Prix mode. In addition, mechanical failures/DNFs aren't happening in Career mode, but are happening in Grand Prix mode. So something is wrong with the AI in Career mode at the moment.

Yes, i am comfortably quicker than 110% ai by at least 1 second per lap.

with 12 hours on the clock with f124?

I play roughl the same difficulty at 88-90 and landing on the places i'm used to, pretty much like previous games.

I can't tell really, I mean the cars stick to the road better than some previous versions, so maybe that can make us, as drivers feel quicker in the corners. They are quick on the straights if you dial it up. I only go around 85-90 depending on the track, some I even have to go lower (Miami, Vegas and Qatar because I am terrible)
