If you buy for multiplayer then I'd say go for it.
also the new career mode has a bug that causes the game to crash when doing practice programs said bug can also brick your save
EA knows about the career bug so hopefully it doesnt take them long to fix it
It definitely feels like there's way more grip than in 23 (i can't really say anything about how realistic that is, because i've not driven a F1 car in RL), so it feels like the muscle memory you've build in 23 makes you turn in way too strong the first few hours. It takes a littlebit time to get used to it, but i wouldn't say that the handling is bad.
For the most part, the biggest complaint is that it feels much more arcade to drive. I don't really feel strongly about this one way or another, but something seems "off" with the traction. There are videos online of people driving across the grass and actually GAINING time, as well as people launching the cars off all 4 tires, landing at full throttle into a turn, and not even getting a slight amount of wheel spin.
He may have said it's "the best yet" but definitely not the best "ever". All he said was that it felt better and that you could control slides more, which was more realistic. But he didn't say anything about the cars being able to go faster by driving on grass or being able to take sausage curbs full throttle with no impact to traction (which are unrealistic things in any context).
Its curious tho he didnt have anything to say about sausage rolling then or grass grip ;p Probably just slipped his mind ;p Ya no he is only 20 ;p
