So they just end up following each other round with the start of the train and the first DRS car 'battling' and slowing down the whole train. If you're quick anyway and get past the train then it's quite easy to get ahead.
what we are seeing is the poor release from cutting your regular release cycle by 2 - 3 months
and just the usual general EA corner cutting, marketing is far cheaper than paying a developer
Yeah this is a big problem too. So i guess there is no dirty Air at all for AI ( Cuz otherwise you couldnt follow a car so close the whole race) and the differences between the cars are to little ( only Verstappen is kinda OP). What do you think?
Ive noticed in mine they don't actually battle all they do is drs trains and don't actually overtake
lol dirty air
dude its an arcade game
Dude, there is dirty Air for the player. So the question is not stupid. Your answer is
No racing game currently on the market calculates every physics point for AI that it does for the player, because it's far too resource-intensive. So, AI do get away with not being affected by some things the player does. If they're meant to be affected by dirty air, I'm sure it'll get patched. But, the AI definitely does not get affected by all of the same things the player does.
An example would be the fact that the AI in F1 games have never been affected by tire carcass temps, even with the setting turned on. They always run at optimal carcass temps.
Have no interest in getting the game yet though as it does seem a buggy mess from watching videos.
