Re: currency conversions, this is controlled by Apple/Google. I just plug-in the USD price, and it auto-converts to local currencies for me. I'm not sure how they get their numbers, but I assume it's at least partly historical average.
Re: languages, I apologize for the lack of translation. NEO Scavenger has a lot of text, so it's a pretty big undertaking to do. That, and the UI would need special handling for each language (longer/shorter words, non-Latin glyphs, new art, etc.). I'm not confident I could do a good job of it.
Cont'd...
Re: demo, the missing shivs are actually by design. The demo has a limited selection of items and recipes. I agree, though, that the demo is long overdue for an update (for bug fixes, at least).
As for the harsh feedback, let's not get ugly in here. The NS community has traditionally been a pretty cool group, so I hope it can stay that way.
Some folks are going to be really frustrated by NS. And some of that is my fault. The best we can do is figure out what the pain points are, and if fixable, try to fix them.
So thanks, all, for the feedback. I'll do my best!
Either way, glad to see this out finally. I've bought both. Good job on this game!
