I wonder if companions would be place-able now if the creator only excluded them by choice and not any sort of code limitaiton. If it was flavor at most, I'd like to see a method of calming and training various animals (probably simple things like canines, small critters, etc) to follow you as their master and be entirely "commandable." Or also, highwayman types that, if you play your cards right, will follow you with a semi-independant will of their own so long as you meet whatever needs they have - food, compensation of some sort, part of some side quest they share with you - and then part ways mutually or from lack of morale or lack of continued supplies and condition they'd want.
And, if there is no limitation like mentioned before, larger or remoddelled map as well as location mods. Someone then could possibly add the entirety of Michigan (there's two peninsulas and scatterrd islands and rivers) and possibly add more content that just more map; make a random chance of finding trader posts and a rare mini "hold out" bastion or few, complete with quests to aid said village against their own struggles and having a more limited function and space of what one could find in Detroit.
I'm fairly new, so if there are tradetowns and whatever or if things DO have limitations listed above please let me know. I admit, I've been off game a bit AND dying repeatedly for a while is indeed my forte here as I get a little further each time, so there's a big chance I'm unaware of a lot more since I also refuse to read spoiler stuff.
i.e. plant claymore out of sight of cryo, bad muthy comes along and bang!!! wakes my character out of sleep with a smile for a change.
Let's see.
Shop at ZomZoms (after going through that questline)
Blackmarket shop at Hatter's which would sell DMC guard gear at inflated prices, after his questline.
Clothing:
-Leather Jacket
-Motorcycle helmet
-Bicycle helmet
Vehicles:
-Mountain Bike
-Bikewheel Cart
-Bike + Cart
-ATV (I swear I'll figure out how to add whiskey/ethanol consumption to a vehicle turned "on")
Small change to storage:
AA batteries don't stack but have 2 spaces for electricity, weigh/cost twice as much.
Military battery 2x2 spaces.
Tarp Tent turned into a very unwieldly vehicle container, so it can hold the sleeping bag.
2l bottles (4x6)
Crafting recipe for compound bow, mechanic+ranged skills.
