Neo Scavenger... Mobile ;)

So...
I've been playing Neo Scavenger Mobile for a while and a love this game and then i found it has mods, but i only have mobile version i saw some post saying that the code for running mods is there in the app and is running but they just dont work, and ive seen another post saying that mods would work only in some devices due to performance issues (older ios would choke running mods) so they put it in hold and that was a more than year ago, im pretty sure my device can run mods and i really want that but i cant seem to make it work and since it was tested and worked i would apreciate a lot if someone helped me, what i need to change so the game run mods on android? Please no hate like "get a pc" i cant afford a pc right now and i just want to play this awesome game with mods.

So i downloaded a mod and searched for the base apk when i found it i recompiled it with the mod in the mods folder and i really was thinking it was going to work but no mods where working even with them in the mods folder, any ideas?
