Wrapping rags on feet for foot wraps.
So, I like the new improper footwear mechanic. It always bugged me you could merrily traipse around with two right (or left) shoes on.

I thought about it and heres one.

Lower barefoot movement by one hex to three. (Have you ever actually tried to walk barefoot without being used to it in the wilderness??). Improper footwear would be 4, (and the chance of blisters) and then shoes 5.

But to make up for this you could wrap dirty (or clean, but why would you do that, theyd get dirty) rags on your feet. They would give you the same movement as improper footwear, w/o the blisters. But they degrade real fast.

The Extended NeoScav mod adds footrags. Look here: http://bluebottlegames.com/main/node/3096

Oh yeah. I run it all the time now (the Steam version is my vanilla version for actual updates, I usually play an offline version running extended NeoScav.

The Extended NeoScav is a very good mod indeed. It has the feet, hands and head wraps made of rags, but also stuff like full process of tanning and preparing animal skins into the rough hide or leather (and craftable leather clothing like cap or vest, that serve as a simple armor), weapon holsters, wrestling combat moves (one can grab, throw or arm-lock opponents), advanced cooking and many other improvements.

If one played and knows the game well enough, this mod is a way to refresh his experience for sure.

100% agree with Kaaven on that.

Me too. I play a melee fighter and the grapple options are awesome!

Kaaven, I really wish you would get together with Chiko and combine your mod and his (or at least have someone craft a modloader. They are the two I run (I LOVE your clothing and item options! And Chikos grappling and crafting), but I hate having to flip between them, and I dont have the time or wherewithal to go through and edit em myself.

There is already a simple mod-merge, made by DnaJur, that combines the two together - you can download it here[bluebottlegames.com] (right now it is updated to use MoD v0.58 and Extended 1.3).

I am pretty sure some small things will still conflict, but it should work relatively smooth.

The problem with such merges is, it is quite a work to do it properly and it's not really all that worthwhile when the core game, as well as both mods are constantly updated. DnaJur makes a good job of trying to keep up, but the real deal (properly merged, tested and optimized) will be only available after the game and the mods are done.
