This question comes up a lot, and my answer is "yes." I'm not sure how it works, or how other developers do it, but I want to give existing Blue Bottle Games and Desura customers access on Steam. So as long as there is a way, it'll be done!
I'm pretty sure he is just about able to handle out steam keys to desura players, maybe within the next couple of weeks.
1 - Connect your Desura account to the Blue Bottle Games website[www.desura.com]. This will create an account for you at my website, and grant it one Steam key (plus access to builds at my site, if you wish).
2 - Visit the beta page, and click the Steam button at the bottom, where it says Your Steam Key[bluebottlegames.com]. You must be logged in and have beta access to see this link (which should be the case after completing step 1 above).
If there are any issues with that process, please let me know in the website tech support forums[bluebottlegames.com], or these forums!
No I don't wish to share these details with you. How can I get the steam key?
I just redeemed a few Steam keys from other green lit products (Post Mordem One Must Die, Particulars and Oozi to name a couple, on Groupees. Just give the keys to groupees like everyone else instead of mining personal data.

It says get a Steam key. I want one without divulging my Desura details. Additionally you are assuming everyone created a Desura account despite the fact that PC, Linux and Mac versions were provided. Therefore a Desura account was not a precondition to obtaining a Steam key.
Further Desura says I am subject to the developer's privacy policy but there is no privacy policy on the site and therefore it would seem the developer is free to do with my personal information as he wants.
Not really sure where you are getting this from. Desura regularly does populate Steam keys to accounts if the developers provide them to Desura. Also both Desura and and Steam have open IDs you can use to login at other sites. In fact you can login Desura with your Steam account.
I am aware of that, but as convenient as it is, you do not directly share game libraries cross-platform.
Anyway, Dan (the developer) may find other ways to do it in the future, but for now, the only automatic way to get access to NEO Scavenger from one platform to the other is through the Blue Bottle Games site.
