Is the quality of a stone in a sling important?

When shot from a sling, I mean. Does that % do anything?

I think it just means how much damage the rock can take before it disapears (if you are using the stone in a melee fashion that is) but for throwing I think it makes no difference but this is hard to check since we can't see numbers only that you "pounded" or "crippled" someone and since the stones dissaper 100% of the time you throw them the % on them is unimportant.

The condition doesn't affect damage done, it just tells you how long before the item will break.
