can i craft backpacks or bags from pelts and fur?

i always have an issue with bag wearing out, but i have all this damn dog fur sitting around doing nothing.

i need a way to find travel bags after initial ones are worn out

General small crafting aside (like torches, slings, etc), you can only use furs/hides for Patchwork Hide Tunics and Patchwork Hide Gloves, provided you also have enough threads for each.

The Makeshift Sack is a container you can craft relatively easily though. It doesn't go on the backpack slot, you need it to hold it in your hand, but it's relatively big. The basic recipe is a medium thread and a tarp or sleeping bag.
