Accessing Files on Laptops

I did some searching, but could not resolve my issue.

I cracked a laptop and have one that was not locked. Now, when I turn them on I see a TXT near where the batter is, but I cannot enter into any sort of interface to access either laptop now. What am I doing wrong? I assumed I could read the TXT file.... any help?


Edit: I was able to bring up the interface, but cannot find any files.

Hold the electronic device in your hand, then you can directly interact with anything inside them.

Thanks, so the TXT file is just a short blurb when I hover over it?

Also, I see the number 3, does that mean there are more?

They're just short blurbs. The 3 means it's a stack of 3 times.

Hold down shift when clicking to separate an item from a stack.

You can store files/programs on memory sticks, they're always considered "on", stack of 20 per stick. Sell duplicate laptops since they're dead weight but keep their batteries, sell paydata (data files that have some financial value) on memory sticks to the junk market/ATN market.
