NEO Scavenger

NEO Scavenger

Does anyone else keep ending the game this way?
I've played this game a lot, pretty good at surviving by now.
But my game always follows this pattern; scavenge around a while, work my way over to DMC, hunt DMC guards till I can afford all the eye buffs, and suddenly lose interest once I have full DMC guard gear and NV/TZ eyes.
After I level up to max, theres not much left to do, so I just save and quit, and a few days later I'll start over on a new character, abandoning that ubermensch.
I like the gameplay, but if they make a sequel, I hope theres a little more end game content.

Yeah, exploring of the lore and its nooks and crannies was meant as an end-game game. On the actual content side, the progression is somewhat limited.

Just out of curiosity, how much of the game content have you seen? Your concern is a valid one, but I also think the game tends to hide a lot from players unless they doggedly search for it.

For example, which of the following have you seen/obtained?
1 - Merga's Realm
2 - Legendary Ability - Unstoppable
3 - Legendary Ability - Elusive
4 - RTG Generator/"Hot Brick" Item
5 - Gauss Gun
6 - Brokering a deal with Hatter for the Blue Rot materials.
7 - Strangler's Hood
8 - Strange Forest
9 - Hover Transport Crash Site
10 - Yezinka
11 - King Elias
12 - Queen Liza

This isn't to say that not uncovering the above is playing the game "wrong." Some people don't enjoy uncovering lore as much as growing a character's abilities, and that's probably something I should balance better in the future.

I'm just wondering what you've already seen to get an idea of what "more end game content" might mean.

8 out of 12, I'll try to find the remaining.
I think there could be some additional endings to the game besides Camp Grayling or sudden death. Maybe something to work towards like, i dunno, citizenship/home ownership in DMC? permanent membership in ATN? King of the bad muthas at Zom Zom's? Finishing off this dying world with a nuclear holocaust launched accidentally from Camp Grayling? or maybe just a higher level area with more/stronger enemies.
extensive prattling removed here

Believe me, some of those were on my wishlist, too :) (Especially the permanent resident of DMC.)

With any luck, I should be able to focus more on content in future games and less on technical issues!
