How to make a strap and attach stuff?

I spend so much time looking at the wiki and I still cant find anything

That depends on which stuff do you want to attach the strap too. First of all, not every item is strap-able.

Some that are, are relatively easy to strap (crowbar, scope or binoculars) - just find or make a medium length of string (can be made by combining 3 small strings) and combine the two together.

Other stuff, namely rifles, are more complex to strap. You can also use medium length of string (or a rifle strap) but to attach it correctly you will also need a multitool and some small mechanical parts (two, if I remember right).

Finally, to create a plastic sled with a strap, while you don't need any tools, you will need more string to make the cord long enough. So you'll have to combine the sled with two medium strings.

read those little scraps of paper all over the world too, bunches of them have recipes for craftables, granted some are just fluff, but it helped me a few times when i was starting out.
