So what am I doing wrong?

I used the money counter to count around 10k, put it in the box and put on coveyor.

yet it still blinks red and theres literally no feedback as to what I did wrong.

I tried that as well. the mission doesnt specify that. it didnt help either. ive tried pretty much everything. different containers eventhough it specifies box and so on.

Your best bet here is to open the scanner app on your phone (bottom right) and look at the box. It'll tell you what's wrong in most cases, like whether the container isn't correct or you didn't pack or bundle the money in the requested way. Keep in mind that money conditions such as not dirty/wet, not counterfit and not marked show up incorrectly sometimes, but they typically won't cause the conveyor to blink red (they just don't count towards the objective).

Also don't forget to set the mission you're delivering to 'Set for delivery'. It's possible its blinking red because you have a different mission selected that's expecting something else to be delivered.

I dont have the scanner yet lol. i also assume its set for delivery as it shows up on the screen and theres no option for it in the tracker

Most likely not packaged right (wrong box, or not plastic wrapped).
Always use a clean box and clean and dry cash.
Check it's the right currency.

Dont use moldy or wet boxes, wet ones will dry, i burn the moldy ones, But the container absolutely matters and double check your bill stack maybe its short?

I had the same issue with the box, but it turned out the boxes I thought were large were just medium and so when it doesn't specify a box size then I use the clean ones I get for orders, but any time it specifies a particular container (especially box sizes) then I just buy a new one - saves on headaches =)

I essentially go through and systematically clean, sort and organise all of my money (CDO is something I deal with, yes haha) and one time I noticed that an order was short and I couldn't work out why - until like an hour later I realised I'd left some leftover $10 bills in the sorter and so my stack of $100s wast really a full stack of $100s hahaha
Also assumed the L money counter filtered out marked bills as well as counterfeited ones, but I was wrong about that too lol and also used all of my counterfeit money to put towards the piggy bank before realising my error and going back to hoarding EVERYTHING.... but that's half the fun - nothing is really unrecoverable =P

Yeah this is a big one - even if its showing up on the right of your HUD, easy way to tell is if its not at the top then its not your active quest

In that case if it's a side mission, I'd say just leave it there until you do have the scanner or just cancel the quest (penalty isn't that steep for doing so). It's also possible that it's bugged. I've played for 50+ hours and only gotten a single quest that refused to complete no matter what I did, so it CAN happen rarely that a quest breaks and becomes impossible to complete.

If it's a main mission though, then good luck cuz I don't know if you can cancel/redo those.

a picture would have helped :D without that, i can just add to what the others said. Since you are so new, you are probably not reading the description clearly.

money categories that matter: wet, dry, clean, not counterfeit, must be counterfeit. marked or unmarked, not ink stained. And very important, if it must be a particular currency amount. LIke they only want it in 20 dollar bills. so if you give them 10k, but it's not 20's, then it won't count. the green button on the money counter lets you change which face value that it is sorting. So you can get it do only 20's. It will spit out the not 20's onto the floor.

while you don't know what some of these are yet, they are very important factors.

Now for how the money is packed. It will tell you if it requires the bills be bound and if they need to be plastic wrapped.

Container. It will tell you if needs a container, what type, what size, if it's required to be clean, dry or functional.
Someone further up said they burn all dirty containers. I do not. I just have clean and dirty containers in separate pallets/piles so i use the dirty one's when i have them and the quest does not specify that it must be clean.

Without any info on what quest you're trying to do and if its correctly set as your delivery target, we can only really guess at whats wrong.
