What to do with spare gold ingots?

I did the 200 ingots quest but can i use the remaining ones to fill up the piggybank on the ceiling? Vacuum tube doesnt accept them, i was wondering if there was some other way

yea i dont seem to currently have any new yellow quest getting activated and still have a bit of gold left over, they can just stay there for me in case something happens.
