game crash when hittin the play button

I have a UE fatal error every time i hit the play button in the main menu. i tried to verfiy the game files, reinstalled the game, run it as admin, updated my grafics drivers and even deleted my save game.

the only thing that worked was deleting my safegame. today i have the same problem again on the new savegame. realy sucks to be locked out by game crashes

same i can't continue my save and i don't want to start a new one and they don't even answer my post on ds and here

Same issue until I installed GeForce Game Ready Driver 576.40 | Windows 11. I finally got the games main loading screen instead of the UE fatal error.

I already tried that. the game is still crashing when I press the play button in the main menu. but thanks anyways

i just found a workaround that works for me. its tedious to do it every time but at least i can play. i reinstalled the game several times and found out that every time there is suddenly a save game #2 file in my save folder even though i havent had a game #2 till my first reinstall.

i need to manualy delete all the save files except the game #1 and game#1 backup file. than i delete all the crash reports and start the game in admin mode. this works for me no idea if its reproducable for other people with the same problem

have just deleted all my crash reports but i can send you the next batch

Regarding the crashing at startup issue:

Through much troubleshooting and with the help of Chat GPT I was able to determine that the sl.pcl.dll file is the cause of the failure to launch. This file can be found at this location: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cash Cleaner Simulator\CashCleanerSimulator\Plugins\Streamline\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64"

As far as I can tell, this file has something to do with DLSS, so removing it probably breaks functionality with DLSS and/or Frame Gen. Thought I would at least share this option as a work around in the meantime for those, like me who bought the game and could not even boot it.""

So you replace sl.pcl.dll with sl.pcl.dll.bak

it doesn crash anymore when i press the play button but now the game is stuck at the save game choice. i can solve this by deleting all save files and start the game in admin modus but it still needs more fixing i gues. thanks for the fast work anyways

i think i have a special problem. in my save files there is always a game 2 savefile but i only hat on game 2 save many many reinstalls ago. i think the game still remembers this save somehow(even after deleting it again and again manualy) and this buggs out my game
