Ink stained money
Is there a better way to clean the ink stained money? Because scrubbing each bill 1-by-1 is getting tiring. Is there a tier 2 sponge or something?

so far no, the best way is to make a huge grid with the bills organized horizontally (it's all about sponge time on bill) then chang jangle the sponge across the rows till they sparkle.

I did 2,000 bills this way and it only took about an hour. I also had a macro to imitate holding left click so I didn't have to hold the button down.
Make sure to cut open the bags they come in with a knife so that you can get the cash without getting ink on them. I'm amazed how it's not yet common knowledge around here, haha.

Sometimes you get cash that already has the ink on them, that you then need to clean, making it an unavoidable annoyance

Aw gotcha, yeah, I just discovered that for myself. So much tedium in this game, I can't help but wonder why it was designed that way. Clean ink bills one at a time, sift through the marked bills one at a time, the piggy bank chute takes only 100 bills at a time... it's very mind boggling. Loving the game otherwise.

I just discovered that the piggy tube takes more money if you tape money, but again, just more tedium, lol.

The game is about tedium. I don't want to rush to the end. I want to spend time sorting through bills and organizing.

Yeah, sometimes people place value on playtime in a game. It can be completely awesome, but if you're finished in only 4-5 hours, it can feel like a waste of $20 (or whatever) to purchase the game. AAA games cost, what, $60-ish, but you can sink hundreds of hours or more into some of them. This makes them excellent value compared to, say, watching a movie in a theater.

You can drop the money back into the workbench to reset the position, and each time it takes less scrubbing to clean the notes. Handy if you are doing a lot and the soiled notes are blocked by others
So I just finished the main missions, though I still have yellow missions to do that are not part of the missions to finish the game, but I'm 20 hours in, and I have yet to clean money at all with ink as I cut the bags open from the start. I thought I was going to clean the inked money from the vault, but I didn't even use that money. Maybe there is one or two yellow missions coming up that will require it? But I'm 20 hours in and still no need to do so.
i've noticed a bug with ink stained money unless this was intended by the dev. In either case, is super annoying and makes me not want to play the game. If you have a stack of clean money and you pick up an ink stained bill, the whole stack becomes ink stained. particularly annoying when you're trying to clean bills in the little booth.

That's intended, same thing happens if you introduce a wet bill to a pile of dry.
I noticed recently that ink is now instantly scrubbing off the money as soon as my sponge hits it, and I'm not sure why - it was absolutely much harder before. It's still a PITA but with stacks of 50 in the workbench, it's somewhat manageable now. Wondering if the dev stealth-changed how much you have to scrub.

There's different levels of how much ink is on bills. Some are soaked and some have just a touch on them.

I don't like the cleaning so I don't do it, I just stick them into the pig. I use my already sorted storage of excess money for any mission that sends me stained bills and wants me to give them clean ones.
