2. Thats a very vague question, some tasks will require no inked, marked. counterfeit or specific value bills which is possibly why that money is not being counted
2. The L and XXL counter definitely filters out the fakes, so you probably made a mistake with the denominations or the stack sizes (since the more advanced counters can be set to make smaller stacks). Use the scanner before puting the delivery on the conveyor just to make sure next time.
After you get a decent amount clean, stack them up (or drop them in the stash/trash bins) and rearrange the remaining bills to clean them.
Do note that if you put a dirty bill on top of a clean stack, *all* the other bills in the stack will get slightly gooey. Just enough that 1 swipe with the sponge clears it, but it's annoying when it happens.
Would be nice if the goo showed darker or something under UV to make it a bit easier to see when a bill in nearly clean.
wait the large one filters out fakes?
Also do you know if there is any use of marked bills? ive been just sorting them out and putting it to the side for later since i cant afford so many machines. and i dont want to use marked bills since you get that extra xp for no marked bills.
some of the later quests require marked or counterfeit bills
