Uv light on workbench not working?

Anyone else have this issue?

If you have Main Light switched on, you won't be able to see any markings on notes. If this isn't the problem then I have no idea what the issue could be

yea the work bench needs blackout curtain upgrade. basicly turned off all the lights and only had lights on in the first area.

sunlight will hurt you as well. i find 8pm is a good time to work on the workbench

or sleep only way to really see it good

That's not it. It's just doesn't work even in complete darkness.

did you buy the darklight upgrade? if you did press Shift key hint is in the lower left

Also the blacklight doesn't stay on for some reason, you have to turn it back on every single time you use the workbench.

Turns out restarting the game fixed the blacklight
