you can just throw a pile of money on the conveyor, will light green if its the right ones. It doesnt even let the wrong bills trough
It might work as a brute force method, but i would really prefer an orderly way of doing things.
I was hoping the sorting table would be of any help but boy is it tedious escpacially with the weird decision that we have to hold the left mouse button and the middle mous button (scrollwheel) must be pressed to flip note... would be much better if it would be left mouse click to grab a note and left click again to drop/stack it and right mouse button to flip the held note.
Still haven´t really figured a good way out to sort marked notes from normal money while for counterfeit the 2nd sorter already does the job so don´t have to worry about this part anymore at least.
I hope that the sorting table will get an QoL update like place the notes on the left side instead of just "vomiting them all over the table" and most importantly change the controlls as after a while it only starts to hurt to constandly hold the mouse button.
So, I take a random pile of money and drop it (loose bills) on the conveyor and it will only suck up the bills that the currently selected mission wants?
Where do the other bills go?
When the conveyor gets invalid bills, it will light up red and block the exit, so the invalid bills will just stay there stuck until you pick them up. You have to consider here that the conveyor will also block valid bills if they're not in a valid box/bag/recipient, but it will let go through a stack of bills inside a recipient that has both valid and invalid bills as long as it has valid bills. If you have the scanner unlocked, you can even check out the stack of cash and it will tell you the percentage of bills that are valid. So say for example your mission is to put a stack of 10K in 100 bills inside a box, if it happens to have marked bills while the mission is asking for only unmarked bills, if you scan the stack or the box with the money inside, it will tell you X% of the money is valid, and that's actually an easy way to tell if a stack of money has marked bills in it. Too bad it only helps you sort out stacks, since if you want to clean the stack you'd need to cut it open and sort out the bills still.
I find the above method way faster than the workbench and hurts my finger less (don't have to click as much!) — especially near the end-game when you get thousands of bills and seemingly over half are marked (I'm doing it for Freddie's Combo Heist mission rn)
The game still seems to have some development plans like the huge washers/dryers on the upper floor and grinder by the furnace. I would hope the devs are also coming up with a way to automatically sort through marked bills
when you have such a quest, make it active and then create smaller piles of money.
Scan those piles and it shows you with a checkmark if it contains marks or not.
When your piles are still to large for manuel work, make them even smaller and filter them this way.
I love everything about this game except the marked bills :D
I now have the problem that there are 43x $100 bills all contaminated with marked bills.
And my wrist and hand hurt like hell.
