I found out there was no way to auto-sort out marked bills at all. It's nice that the L counter can spit out fake money, but the thought of having to manually sort through thousands of bills by hand to toss the fakes immediately kills any sort of excitement I had for this game.

I'm just hitting this part of the game now and trying to figure out what the intended solution is supposed to be, because right now it's nearly impossible to pick out marked bills when money goes into that "pile" state.

EDIT: Ah if you hold a stack of money (not mass grabbing, but holding a stack of like 100, while placing the stack press X to drop a single, if you keep doing that while fanning out the cash you can easily see and grab the marked money while a UV light is on them. This is still tedious and it would be nice if we could set a machine to auto select these, but for now this is the best we got.

Washed the bills on hard setting twice and dried them, they're still marked. Seems like the only way to be rid of marked bills is to manually sift through piles under UV.

Marked bills are not extremely common to be fair and most contracts do not care. Only if they were fake they would care.
Even then you can just ignore it and they just wont count the marked ones so, yes, you lose the bonus for having only one delivery and such but...

Yep that a hard mission i need 8000 or Marked and false money but i dont get enough. I did one mission after another ut i didnt get enough false money :(

Can you give us a Printer so we can make our own false money? :D

Later counting machines can sort the counterfeit from the real ones according to the description (I don't know if it sorts marked ones), but yeah still tedious. I haven't unlocked the bigger lamp yet but what I do is lay down a pile of cash, put my UV light on the floor, and it shows which ones are real as you pick them up by holding the pick up button. Hope that helps a little.

You can also buy a UV lamp for your worktable and sort them there (where you can zoom in)

It's a simulator fellas, it's not difficult to do the marking sorting.

Put it into the counter, put a UV light by the sorter, pick up the pile, put the pile down and you can normally see what is marked or what isn't. If this isn't easy enough, pick up the pile as you normally would (Holding LMB) and just watch when a marked pops up. Stop picking up, hold RMB and hit X, problem solved.

I sorted around 19 piles earlier looking for counterfeits and found around 10 of the piles to be completely counterfeit haha. I know the pain, but it isn't that bad once you get system going.

I'm also realizing that unless specified, it's fine to not sort it, you might not get the bonus reward associated with it, but you got ton of procedural jobs. No need for the extra headache.

My brain gets tickled when I sort it though. It’s satisfying watching the stacks grow. The only thing that irritated me was when there was the blue bomb in the bag, accidentally opened one in the beginning not knowing that was a thing and got blue bills, then I put it in the workbench to work on, and forgot I left it in the corner, took a stack of clean bills and put it in the workbench then realized the other stack is still in there then when I went to grab it out, I ended up grabbing it all mixing it, then I think think the blue marks got on all of them, now I’m in for the long clean… arg.

Yeah, even with all the tips available, my wrist still hurts from cleaning the inked bills.
An auto sorter for marked bills AND a more efficient way to clean inked bills is really needed.

its not going to hurt you to give people marked bills. infact unless your quest asks for it you dont even have to care about marked bills. i sent off alot of them without caring. your reward will be hurt by one tier but thats not much of a bonus given the time investment needed for it.
